H Family: Holiday Family Photos

On Sunday we went out and took photos of a lovely family. The two older kids were awesome about getting their pictures taken, which made my work a lot easier. The two younger ones did great as well. We were going to do the shoot outside but at the last minute decided on an indoor shoot due to the frigid temps. It was a good thing because Sunday morning dawned with a nice chilly wind that would have made anyone, especially a toddler in a pretty dress- not so happy! We set up two studio lights and I shot some formal pics around the house and by the Christmas tree. The mom had a good idea to put her daughter on top of the piano and some of those photos turned out the best. Here are a few of my faves:
